Abstract:
A ferronickel sulfidation method. Josephinite is smelted in an ore-smelting electric furnace, and generated molten ferronickel automatically flows to a hot metal ladle; after the hot metal ladle enters a sulfidation process, a rotating stirring apparatus is slowly inserted into molten iron; after the stirring apparatus is inserted to a certain depth, a sulfiding agent is added into the molten ferronickel by means of the stirring apparatus; and under the action of powerful stirring, sulfur is fully mixed with the molten ferronickel and reacts with nickel, cobalt, and iron in the molten ferronickel to generate nickel-sulfur and nickel-cobalt-iron alloys. The method enhances the mixing reaction of molten ferronickel and sulfur, achieves a nickel-cobalt curing rate of 95% or above and a sulfur utilization rate of greater than 90%, reduces the content of sulfur dioxide in flue gas, is environmentally friendly, is adapted to both liquid and solid sulfiding agents, and is also capable of flexibly adjusting an existing ferronickel production line.
