A few-shot image incremental classification method based on embedding enhancement and adaption. The method comprises: acquiring an image incremental classification system, wherein the system is used for performing a classification task on images to be classified; acquiring images to be classified, and uploading same to the system for identification; when identification performed by the system fails, acquiring a small number of images of a category and taking same as training samples, performing calculation on the training samples by means of a feature pre-training module to obtain a target prototype, and performing adaptive adjustment on the target prototype and/or an original prototype by means of a hybrid relationship mapping module, so as to update all prototypes in the system and to realize classification and identification for this category of images to be classified; and when identification performed by the system is successful, by means of the feature pre-training module, the hybrid relationship mapping module and a classifier, performing classification and identification on the images to be classified, and outputting a classification result. The method is used for enhancing the scalability of a classifier, introducing a hybrid relationship mapping mechanism, and optimizing the prototype representation of a sample, such that a system is gradually applicable to identification of all images of a visible category.
