Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of 3D printing. Provided are a filament-based 3D printing method and a filament-based 3D printer. The invention adopts a filament-forming material from which filaments can be drawn as a printing material. Micron filaments can be drawn from the printing material. When a 3D printing operation is performed, the filaments drawn from the printing material are injected onto a printing material receiving member (1) for 3D modeling. To prevent interference from an air flow, the 3D printing process is performed in a closed environment. Moreover, a filament-cutting device is provided at a print head (2). A moving device is used to ensure formation of a filament within a short distance. In the 3D printer, the print head (2) moves in three dimensions in a space, thereby realizing additive 3D printing of a three-dimensional structure. The invention is applicable to printing of various biological or non-biological three-dimensional structures composed of micron filaments.
