Abstract:
A film capacitor 1 according to the present invention is provided with: a capacitor element 10 which comprises an element main body 11 and an external electrode 12 that is provided on an end face of the element main body 11; and a lead-out terminal 20 which is electrically connected to the external electrode 12. The element main body 11 is a multilayer body which comprises a metallized film (for example, a first metallized film 51) that is obtained by providing at least one main surface of a dielectric film (for example, a first dielectric film 53) with a metal layer (for example, a first metal layer 55). The external electrode 12 is connected to the metal layer (for example, the first metal layer 55). The lead-out terminal 20 is welded to the external electrode 12. The surface roughness Ra of the external electrode 12 is 20 µm to 45 µm; and the bite depth D of the lead-out terminal 20 from the surface of the external electrode 12 is 0.5 mm or more.
