Abstract:
A fingerprint recognition display panel and a display device. For a liquid crystal layer (500) at the position corresponding to a first opening area (A), which is provided corresponding to a photosensitive sensing unit (600), in a light shielding layer (700), the initial direction of the long axis of the liquid crystal molecules thereof is provided at 45 degrees with respect to the direction of the light transmission axis of an upper polarizing plate (400). In addition, the liquid crystal layer (500) at the position corresponding to the first opening area (A) is controlled to form an equivalent quarter-wave plate (501). Accordingly, linearly polarized light incident from the upper polarizing plate (400) synthesizes circularly polarized light after passing through the equivalent quarter-wave plate (501). The rotation state of the circularly polarized light is changed after the circularly polarized light is reflected by a reflective film layer (601) below the photosensitive sensing unit (600), and then the circularly polarized light forms linearly polarized light after again passing through the equivalent quarter-wave plate (501), the formed linearly polarized light being in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the light transmission axis of the upper polarizing plate (400), such that the linearly polarized light cannot be emitted through the upper polarizing plate (400), thereby achieving the effect of preventing light leakage.
