Abstract:
The present specification relates to a fingerprint recognition smart card and an activation method therefor. The fingerprint recognition smart card comprises: a fingerprint sensor embedded in a plate and provided on one side of the front or rear surface of the smart card; a storage unit for storing fingerprint information data and card information registered by a user; a display unit for displaying at least a portion of the card information; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the display unit according to whether fingerprint recognition data obtained by means of the fingerprint sensor matches the fingerprint recognition data stored in the storage unit, wherein, after the smart card is activated by fingerprint recognition, information displayed on the display unit, in particular, that of a card authentication code and a card number, is displayed simultaneously or sequentially.
