The present application relates to the technical field of terminals. Provided are a fitness age estimation method and an electronic device, which can be used for obtaining a fitness age daily, thus reducing the difficulty of obtaining a fitness age. The method comprises: an electronic device displaying a first interface, wherein the first interface comprises a first control, and the first control is used for triggering the electronic device to test a maximum oxygen uptake of a user; after the electronic device detects a first operation of the user on the first control, the electronic device displaying guide information, wherein the guide information is used for guiding the user to complete a test exercise for testing the maximum oxygen uptake; after it is detected that the test exercise ends, the electronic device displaying a second interface, wherein the second interface comprises a fitness age of the user, and the fitness age is obtained by means of the electronic device performing mapping on the basis of the maximum oxygen uptake, which is obtained by means of testing.
