Abstract:
A flame-retardant ABS composition, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The ABS composition comprises the following components, calculated in parts by weight: 70-80 parts of an ABS resin; 10-13 parts of a brominated flame retardant; 2-4 parts of an antimony flame retardant synergist; 2-7 parts of boehmite; 0.1-0.5 parts of a thioether compound; and 0-6 parts of other auxiliaries. The structural formula of the thioether compound is as shown below, wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 can be the same or different, and are independently selected from C5-C16 alkyl groups. Boehmite and the thioether compound are used in a bromine-antimony flame-retardant system for synergy, such that the content and addition amount of the brominated flame retardant are small and the mechanical property thereof is good under the conditions of 1.5 mm and V-0 flame-retardant rating.
