Abstract:
Enhancements of abrasion resistance and conductivity can be attained by constructing a
hub portion of fluid bearing unit with a resin composition comprising polyphenylene sulfide
(PPS) as a base resin and, blended therewith, carbon fiber. Alternatively, excellent
abrasion resistance can be attained by constructing any portions, opposite
to each other across a bearing clearance, of a fixed member and rotor of fluid bearing
unit with a resin composition comprising polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) as a base
resin.
