Abstract:
A frame of a bicycle comprises a turnable X-shape frame (1) and an I-shape frame (2) joined at the center point (p), with a vertically movable sliding ring (8) and a rotating ring (9) attached to a head lug (3). Two ends on a front wheel side of the X-shape frame are turnably attached to the lower end of the head lug and the sliding ring respectively, and two ends on a rear wheel side thereof to the tip end of an upper frame (4) and one end of the I-shape frame respectively. The rotating ring is connected to right and left handle bars (15) via a connecting bar (10), and the other end of the I-shape is connected to a saddle post (7) via a connecting bar (11). The above arrangement makes it possible, when a saddle (14) is pushed downward, to move the I-shape frame, the X-shape frame, the sliding ring and the handle bars in conjunction with each other for simultaneous folding.
