Claims:
What is Claimed is:

1. A folding folder for individualization and customization that reduces transportation costs, is convenient for storage, is environmentally friendly, and reduces storage space in an unfolded configuration, the folding folder comprising: a) a leather shell grey board; b) a leather shell surface paper affixed to the leather shell grey board; c) a leather shell lining affixed to the leather shell grey board; and d) an inner pocket affixed to the leather shell lining.

2. The folding folder of claim 1, wherein the leadier shell grey board further comprises a closure mechanism.

3. The folding folder of claim 2, wherein the closure mechanism is selected from the group consisting of a magnet, a snap, an adhesive strip, or a hook and loop.

4. The folding folder of claim 3, wherein the closure mechanism is a magnet.

5. The folding folder of claim 4, wherein the closure mechanism can be used in automated packing machines without requiring the use of adhesives, tapes or other fastening methods.

6. The folding folder of claim 1, wherein the inner pocket is equipped with a backing to make the closure mechanism operable to close and secure the folding folder in a closed position.

7. The folding folder of claim 5, wherein the backing is a magnetic material, preferably an iron sheet.

8. The folding folder of claim 3, wherein the leather shell grey board is divided into independendy divided areas, the area comprising:

1) a leadier shell panel;

2) a leather shell ridge board;

3) a leather shell bottom board; and

4) a leather shell panel/skin shell ridge board.

9. The folding folder of claim 3, further comprising a slot disposed between the leather shell panel/skin shell ridge board and the leather shell bottom board.

10. The folding folder of claim 3, wherein the leather shell grey board is adhered to inner end surfaces of the leather shell surface paper, and the leather shell lining is attached to the leather shell grey board, forming a leather shell structure.

11. The folding folder of claim 3, wherein sides of the folding folder are created when a third inner end face is glued to a fourth inner end face along one or more than one folding line, and when a fifth inner end face is glued to a sixth inner end face along one or more than one folding line.

12. The folding folder of claim 3, wherein a lower end surface of the inner pocket is adhered to the bottom plate of the leather shell structure, and double-sided tape on the inner pocket is attached to the inner end surface.

13. The folding folder of claim 3, wherein after a product is placed inside the folding folder and is covered, the magnet and the iron sheet will have a suction effect, and the suction will be used to keep the leather case panel upside down 180° and not fall.

14. The folding folder of claim 3, comprises grey board, wherein the grey board is made from recycled paper that is environmentally friendly, sustainable, less polluting than traditionally folders.

15. The folding folder of claim 3, wherein when completed and an open position, forms an opening for placing product.

16. The folding folder of claim 1, wherein, in a closed position, the product is fully enclosed in the folding folder and ready for shipment or delivery and the closure mechanism will keep the product inside tire folding folder, but can be easily opened by an end user.

17. A method of making a folding folder for individualization and customization that reduces transportation costs, is convenient for storage, is environmentally friendly, and reduces storage space in an unfolded configuration, the step comprising: a) affixing a leather shell surface paper to a leather shell grey board; b) affixing a leather shell lining to the leather shell grey board; c) affixing an inner pocket to the leather shell lining; d) folding the folder along folding lines; e) folding a plurality of folder sides; and f) folding a cover over the sides.

A Folding Folder

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] This Application claims the benefit under 35 U.S.C. § 120(e) of U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 63/322,063, filed on March 21, 2022, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention is in the technical field of folding folder and more particularly to a folding folder for individualization and customization that reduces transportation costs, is convenient for storage, is environmentally friendly, and reduces storage space in an unfolded configuration.

BACKGROUND

[0003] Paper packaging is one of the fastest growing industries in the market. In a high- end consumer product, product packaging is a key factor in attracting consumers and reflects the value of the product. At present, most of the printing and packaging are only copied according to the customer’s model. There is a lack of innovation.

[0004] However, the packaging market is huge. The individualization of product packaging is particularly needed now, and each new product must be considered in several aspects in the development of packaging. For example: novel structure, beautifying products, protecting products, personalized design, etc.

[0005] Folders are commonly used as office tools for storing, protecting, and standardizing management of documents and other materials. Most of the folders currently are made of plastic material, which is not to environmentally friendly. Plastic folders have high transportation costs and complex structures and are not convenient to use. The defects are obvious, and there is an urgent need to provide a solution.

[0006] Also, folders on the market cannot satisfy existing customers' aesthetics and usability of the folder, and at the same time they cannot enhance the value of the product itself. [0007] Therefore, there is a need for a folding folder for individualization and customization that reduces transportation costs, is convenient for storage, is environmentally friendly, and reduces storage space in an unfolded configuration, overcoming the limitations of the prior art.

SUMMARY

[0015] The present invention provides a folding folder for individualization and customization that reduces transportation costs, is convenient for storage, is environmentally friendly, and reduces storage space in an unfolded configuration. The folding folder comprises a leather shell grey board, a leather shell surface paper affixed to the leather shell grey board, a leather shell lining affixed to the leather shell grey board, and an inner pocket affixed to the leather shell lining. The inner pocket is equipped with a backing to make the closure mechanism operable to close and secure the folding folder in a closed position. In a preferred embodiment, the backing is a magnetic material, preferably an iron sheet.

[0016] The leather shell grey board further comprises a closure mechanism, wherein the closure mechanism is selected from the group consisting of a magnet, a snap, an adhesive strip, or a hook and loop. The closure mechanism is preferably a magnet. The closure mechanism can be used in automated packing machines without requiring the use of adhesives, tapes or other fastening methods.

[0017] The leather shell grey board is divided into independently divided areas: a leather shell panel; a leather shell ridge board; a leather shell bottom board; and a leather shell panel/skin shell ridge board. There is also a slot disposed between the leather shell panel/skin shell ridge board and the leather shell bottom board.

Sides of the folding folder are created when a third inner end face is glued to a fourth inner end face along one or more than one folding line, and when a fifth inner end face is glued to a sixth inner end face along one or more than one folding line. A lower end surface of the inner pocket is adhered to the bottom plate of the leather shell structure, and double-sided tape on the inner pocket is attached to the inner end surface.

[0022] The present invention overcomes the limitations of the prior art by providing a folding folder 100 for individualization and customization that reduces transportation costs, is convenient for storage, is environmentally friendly, and reduces storage space in an unfolded configuration. The present invention is a new type of folding folder 100 made of grey board. Grey board is made from recycled paper. The grey board is more environmentally friendly, sustainable, less pollution vs traditionally folding folder 100s. The present invention also has a novel structure that is beautiful and practical. The present invention can be folded for packaging and delivery, reduces transportation costs, is convenient for storage, is environmentally friendly, and reduces storage space in an unfolded configuration.

As can be seen the folding folder 100, when complete, forms a pocket 502 for placing product. Because of the closure mechanism 118 and 120, the folding folder 100 can be used in automated packing machines without requiring the use of adhesives, tapes or other fastening methods.
