Title:
FOUNDRY BINDER SYSTEMS WHICH CONTAIN A SILANE-MODIFIED POLYISOCYANATE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002047462
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to phenolic-urethane foundry binder systems containing a silane-modified polyisocyanate. The silane-modified polyisocyanates are prepared by reacting a polyisocyanate with an organosilane. The foundry binders are used to make foundry shapes, which are used to cast metal parts.
