Abstract:
Provided in embodiments of the present application are a frequency adjustment method and apparatus applied to a terminal, and an electronic device. The method comprises: monitoring the drawing time of a first frame image; when the drawing time exceeds a first drawing duration, acquiring the current state of a system on chip (SOC), the current state being the combination of any one or more of the following parameters: the current temperature of the SOC and the current load of the SOC; determining whether the current state exceeds a first preset threshold; if not, increasing the operating frequency of the SOC within a time range, and restoring the operating frequency once increasing the operating frequency has ended; when the drawing of the first frame image is completed, acquiring an actual drawing duration of the first frame image; and when the actual drawing duration does not exceed a second drawing duration, monitoring the drawing time of the second frame image, wherein the second drawing duration is determined according to a pre-configured highest frame rate, and the first drawing duration is shorter than the second drawing duration. The implementation of the embodiments of the present application may reduce large fluctuations in the frame rate.
