Abstract:
A front end amplifier circuit includes a front end amplifier for changing a feedback resistance according to a control signal and setting a band width to be amplified, control signal generation means for detecting a band of an output signal of the front end amplifier and generating the control signal, and correction signal generation means for generating a correction signal of the control signal. The control signal is corrected by the correction signal and the feedback resistance value is changed/adjusted. Even when the number of rises and falls of an optical input signal within a predetermined time has become smaller than a predetermined range, it is possible to correctly generate a control voltage to perform normal band control. That is, it is possible to realize an optical receiver in which the band width is automatically adjusted without being affected by the input signal pattern and to reduce the cost.
