Abstract:
A front-rear interlocking brake device (50) of a saddle type vehicle (1) includes a brake pedal (34) provided on a vehicle body (5) in a pivotable manner; an equalizer arm (52) connected to the brake pedal (34) in a pivotable manner; a rear-wheel-brake transmitting member (33) that is connected to one end (52a) of the equalizer arm (52) and transmits an operating force to the rear-wheel brake (31); a front-wheel-brake transmitting member (54) that is connected to the other end (52b) of the equalizer arm (52) and transmits an operating force to the front-wheel brake (32); and a master cylinder (55) that receives the operating force and causes the front-wheel brake (32) to exert a braking force. The front-wheel-brake transmitting member (54) extends toward the rear side of the equalizer arm (52).
