Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a functional area identification method and a related device thereof. The function of a surface feature can be identified on the basis of communication information. Since content which is described by the communication information is objective content and can represent all users in the surface feature, the identification of a functional area is completed on the basis of the communication information, which facilitates improvement in the accuracy of an identification result. The method in the present application comprises: when it is necessary to determine the function of a first surface feature, communication information of the first surface feature and communication information of a plurality of second surface features may be acquired first, wherein the function of each second surface feature is preset; the communication information of the first surface feature and the communication information of the plurality of second surface features are then processed, so as to obtain characteristics of the first surface feature, wherein the characteristics of the first surface feature include the similarity between the communication information of the first surface feature and the communication information of the plurality of second surface features; and finally, the function of the first surface feature is determined on the basis of the characteristics of the first surface feature and the functions of the plurality of second surface features.
