Abstract:
This functional component attachment seat (100) is used for attaching a functional component (200) to a tire inner surface (30) of a pneumatic tire. The functional component attachment seat (100) has: an enclosing wall part (110) that extends from the tire inner surface (30) inwardly in the tire radial direction and encloses side surfaces (210) of the functional component (200); and a flange part (130) that is continued to the enclosing wall part (110) and engages with a peripheral edge part (221) on the tire radial inside of the functional component (200). The functional component attachment seat (100) has engagement protruding parts (131, 132) that engage with notched parts (231, 232) that are formed in portions of the peripheral edge part (221) and that extend in the tire width direction or the tire circumferential direction.
