Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for opening a communication channel (session) between a mobile communication terminal (10), which constitutes a mobile station of a mobile communication network (21), and a specific computer which is connected to the internet. The invention makes it possible to send and receive data packets by using the telephone number of a mobile communication terminal (10) as a connection key when opening a communication channel, via an internet gateway server (30), between the mobile communication terminal (10) and the specific computer on the internet through communication based on WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) over a mobile communication network (21) or communication based on TCP/IP (Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) over a wireless LAN network (22). The present invention enables stable and accurate data communication between the mobile communication terminal (10) and the specific computer on the internet even without complicated manipulation of the two, and thus can efficiently and stably provide a data communication service between a variety of types of mobile communication networks (21), wireless LAN networks (22) and the internet, such as mobile communication terminal (10) remote control of the computer on the internet, not to mention data transmission between the mobile communication terminal (10) and the computer on the internet, and can maximize convenience for the user.
