Description:
Description GOLF GLOVES [1] Technical Field [2] The present invention relates to golf gloves used to grasp a golf club in an optimum stable state, and more particularly, to golf gloves being capable of preventing the movement of the all fingers with fingers of a left hand overlapping fingers of a right hand, while a user winds and holds the grip of the golf club.

[3] Background Art [4] Generally, there are several types of gripping a golf club depending on the method of locating a left hand on a right hand, for example, an overlapping grip, an in- terlocking grip, a baseball grip, and the like. With the gripping as above, the left hand serves as an axis to support the golf club stably, and the right hand allows a head of the golf club to hit a ball.

[5] A right method of gripping in the swing movement is to minimize a movement of hands as possible as it is allowed, and transfer a speed of the rotational force generated when a user turns his or her body to the head of the club. To do this, both hands during the gripping should be held in some harmony of power, that is, either one hand should not dominate the other hand, and both hands control the golf club with uniformly distributed power to draw a balanced swing.

[6] Golfers necessarily wear golf gloves having functions of allowing the golfers to grasp the golf club firmly and protecting the golfers'hands grasping the club.

[7] However, there was a problem in the golf gloves in the related art that a slice occurs at the moment of impact due to a movement of finger regions of both hands generated when taking a swing.

[8] Disclosure of the Invention [9] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the problem involved in the related art, and to provide golf gloves being capable of preventing the movement of the all fingers including an overlapping finger region of a left hand and a finger region of a right hand, while a user winds and holds the grip of the golf club in order to grasp the golf club in an optimum stable state.

[10] According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a golf gloves having left and right hand gloves, each of which includes a hand receiving portion rolling palm and back of the hands, and a finger receiving portion which com- municates with the hand receiving portion and receives fingers, wherein the finger receiving portion 14 of the left hand glove 10 includes a first receiving portion that receives fingers 15 that receives fingers except a thumb and a forefinger in a single space, and the right hand glove 20 includes a second receiving portion 25 that receives fingers except a thumb, a forefinger and a little finger in a single space. Preferably, the first receiving portion 15 of the left hand glove 10 and the second receiving portion 25 of the right hand glove 20 are formed of elastic material in order to prevent a movement of the received fingers.

[11] Preferably, the first receiving portion 15 of the left hand glove 10 and the second receiving portion 25 of the right hand glove 20 have elastic bands 30 in order to prevent a movement of the received fingers.

[12] Brief Description of the Drawings [13] The above objects, other features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent by describing the preferred embodiment thereof with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: [14] Fig. 1 is a front perspective view showing a configuration of a left hand golf glove.

[15] Fig. 2 is a rear view showing a configuration of a left hand golf glove.

[16] Fig. 3 is a front perspective view showing a configuration of a right hand golf glove.

[17] Fig. 4 is a rear view showing a configuration of a right hand golf glove.

[18] Fig. 5 is a sectional view showing sections taken along lines A-A and B-B of Figs.

1 and 3.

[19] Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [20] Reference will now be made in detail to preferred embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

[21] Golf gloves in accordance with the present invention consist of a left hand glove 10 shown in Figs. 1 and 2 and a right hand glove 20 shown in Figs. 3 and 4, where both gloves 10 and 20 are characterized in that they have hand receiving portions 12 and 22 enclosing palm and back of the hand, and finger receiving portions 14 and 24 that are communicated with the hand receiving portions 12 and 22 and receive fingers.

[22] The finger receiving portion 14 of the left hand glove 10 consists of a first receiving portion 15 for receiving fingers except a thumb and a forefinger, that is, a middle finger, a medical finger and a little finger, a first thumb receiving portion 16 for receiving the thumb, and a first forefinger receiving portion 17 for receiving the forefinger.

[23] The finger receiving portion 24 of the right hand glove 20 consists of a second receiving portion 25 for receiving fingers except the thumb, the forefinger and the little finger, that is, the middle finger and the little finger, a second thumb receiving portion 26 for receiving the thumb, and a second forefinger receiving portion 27 for receiving the forefinger, and a little finger receiving portion 28 for receiving the little finger.

[24] The first receiving portion 15 and the second receiving portion 25 of the left hand glove 10 and the right hand glove 20 have an elastic band 30 which is attached to inner circumferences of the first and second receiving portions 15 and 25 and prevents the movement of the fingers as shown in Fig. 5.

[25] That is, the golf gloves are generally formed of a leather and a gauze for ventilation, where the elastic band 30 is attached to inner circumferences of the first and second receiving portions 15 and 25 of the left and right hand gloves 10 and 20, and the elastic band 30 has a function of fastening portions adjacent the second knuckles of the fingers received in the first and second receiving portions 15 and 25.

[26] Meanwhile, while the elastic band 30 is attached to the inner circumferences of the first and second receiving portions 15 and 25 in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, it may be possible in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention that the first and second receiving portions 15 and 25 are wholly formed of an elastic material and sewed to the hand receiving portions 12 and 22, or the first and second receiving portions 15 and 25 are formed of an elastic material by regions corresponding to the elastic band 30.

[27] The elastic band 30 and elastic material described above are formed of textiles including an elastic textile or a rubber material, which are attached using adhesives or sewed using a sewing machine and provide the fingers received in the first and second receiving portions 15 and 25 with a close adhesion force when a user wears the golf gloves.

[28] Accordingly, in the state of the grip of the golf club in accordance with the present invention, that is, in the state that both hands are coupled in the state that the forefinger of the left hand grasping the golf club is hooked with the little finger of the right hand, the little finger, the medical finger and the middle finger of the left hand and the medical finger and the middle finger of the right hand become a pivot of power to grasp the golf club.

[29] At this time, in the state of wearing the golf gloves in accordance with the present invention, the little finger, the medical finger and the middle finger of the left hand are fastened by the elastic band 30 in the state that they were wholly entered into the first receiving portion 15 of the left hand glove 10, and the little finger and the middle finger of the right hand are fastened to the elastic band 30 in the state that they are entered into the second receiving portion 25 of the right hand glove 20, so that even a beginner can correctly maintain a consistent grip while preventing a movement of the fingers which are in the grip state when making a swing.

[30] Industrial Applicability [31] According to the present invention, it is possible to effectively expand and contract portions of fingers that move frequently when making a swing, so that a balanced swing can be accomplished by controlling a golf club with the same power on both hands, and a stable grip state can be maintained.

[32] While the present invention has been described and illustrated herein with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention covers the modifications and variations of this invention that come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
