Abstract:
A grid map testing method and system, relating to the field of robotic vacuum cleaners. The method comprises: raising/lowering, by means of an expansion device, an obstacle that cannot be detected by means of a first sensor within a predetermined height range, so that the obstacle can be detected within the predetermined height range (101); a surveying and mapping robot performing grid map surveying and drawing by means of the first sensor to obtain a first grid map (102); removing the expansion device, so that the obstacle returns to its original state (103); a robotic vacuum cleaner performing grid map surveying and drawing to obtain a second grid map (104); and comparing the first grid map and the second grid map to obtain information representing the accuracy of the second grid map (105). According to the method, the performance of a robotic vacuum cleaner drawing system and the accuracy of a drawing result can be accurately tested.
