Abstract:

A harness design support device capable of performing a harness design in consideration of the physical properties of the harness in a short time when those devices incorporating harness such as printers, cars, machine tools, and industrial robots are designed and developed, comprising a component part information holding part (20) for pre-holding three-dimensional model data (22) on those component parts other than the harness of a designed device, a harness information set part (11) for setting information on harness as harness information (23), a property information set part (202) for setting, as property information (206), information on the physical properties of the harness, a three-dimensional model construction part (200) for constructing the three-dimensional model of the harness and the component parts based on the harness information (23) set by the harness information set part (11), three-dimensional model data (22) on the component parts of the component part information holding part (20), property information (206) set by the property information set part (202), and a display control part (13) for displaying the three-dimensional model constructed (30) by the three-dimensional model construction part (200).
