Abstract:
Provided is a harness protector that has a novel structure and that can be miniaturized without sacrificing strength, etc. A harness protector 10: that includes a trough-shaped protector main body 14 that houses a wire harness 12, and a lid body 18 that covers an upper opening 16 of the protector main body 14; that is provided to an outer peripheral surface of a horizontally extending reinforcement 72 along the long direction of the reinforcement 72; that has an engagement recess 30 that is engaged along the outer peripheral surface of the reinforcement 72 and that is configured from a base wall 20 of the protector main body 14 and from a pair of ribs 24, 24 that are formed so as to protrude toward the reinforcement 72 from both width-direction end parts of the base wall 20; that is held on the reinforcement 72 as a result of a clamp part 64, which is provided so as to protrude from the base wall 20, being fitted into an installation hole 74 of the reinforcement 72; and that has a hollow structure that comprises grooves 26 that connect the interiors of the pair of ribs 24, 24 to an interior space of the protector main body 14.
