A heavy duty shearing and crushing demolition apparatus with blades on the lower and upper jaws having distal shearing points (150) and therebehind crushing points (152) so as to expose the crushing point (152) when the upper jaw is open with the shearing point (150) out of the way and to expose the shearing point (150) when the upper jaw is closing with the crushing point (152) out of the way.
