Abstract:

This hermetic compressor comprises: an electric drive element (103); a compression element (105) which is driven by the electric drive element (103); and a hermetic housing (101) in which the electric drive element (103) and the compression element (105) are housed and in which oil (113) is contained. The compression element (105) comprises: a crankshaft (119) which is provided with a main shaft (129), an eccentric shaft (127), and an oil supply mechanism (131); a cylinder block (121) which is provided with a main bearing (137) for rotatably supporting the main shaft (129) of the crankshaft (119), and also with a cylinder (135) for forming a compression chamber (133); a piston (123) which reciprocates within the cylinder (135); and a connection means (125) which connects the eccentric shaft (127) and the piston (123). A first oil groove (139A) which extends in the circumferential direction of the cylinder (135) is provided in at least a part of the upper outer peripheral surface of the cylinder (135).
