Abstract:
An electromagnetic suction valve provided to a high-pressure fuel supply pump produces reduced collision noise when operated. In order to achieve the above, the mass of a member colliding due to a magnetic attraction force is reduced to reduce the occurring noise. The present invention configured in this way provides the following effect. The level of noise generated when a core and an anchor collide with each other due to the magnetic attraction force depends on the magnitude of kinetic energy of a movable section. Kinetic energy consumed by the collision is only the kinetic energy of the anchor. The kinetic energy of a rod is absorbed by a spring and therefore does not contribute to the noise. As a result, energy occurring when the core and the anchor collide with each other can be reduced and occurring noise can be reduced.
