Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a hot migration result prediction method, a hot migration method, an electronic device, and a storage medium, relating to cloud server technology. The method comprises: acquiring historical performance data of a virtual machine in a preset time period of each day in the past N days, and static attribute information of the virtual machine; determining characteristic information of the virtual machine in a preset time period according to the historical performance data and the static attribute information; and inputting the characteristic information into a preset prediction model to obtain a hot migration success rate of the virtual machine in a future preset time period, the success rate being used to represent a predicted hot migration result of the virtual machine. This implementation means can use historical data of a virtual machine in a preset time period to predict a hot migration success rate for the virtual machine in a future preset time period; this means not only considers static characteristics of the virtual machine, but also considers dynamic characteristics of the virtual machine in different preset time periods, and therefore, enough time may be reserved for a hot migration plan of the virtual machine by a solution provided by the disclosure.
