Abstract:
A hot water device WH is provided with a heat exchanger H1 and a device H2 to which the heat exchanger H1 is to be connected. First and second cases C1, C2 for the heat exchanger H1 and the device H2 to which the heat exchanger H1 is to be connected are provided with first and second flanges 5A, 5B laid over each other and welded together. The first and second flanges 5A, 5B are each demarcated into a corner flange 50 corresponding to one of first and second corners 12, 22, and into a non-corner flange 51 other than the corner flange. The non-corner flanges 51 protrude more to the outside of the first and second cases C1, C2 than the corner flanges 50. As a result, the corner flanges 50 can be prevented from cracking, the temperature of the first and second flanges 5A, 5B are prevented from becoming abnormally high during the welding thereof, and the flange connection between the heat exchanger H1 and the device H2 to which the heat exchanger H1 is to be connected can be appropriately performed.
