Abstract:
An icon arrangement method applied to a terminal with a display screen, comprising: displaying a main screen, wherein the main screen takes a first picture as a wallpaper, and a first group of icons are displayed on the main screen; entering a wallpaper setting interface, and displaying a second picture; receiving a user input when the second picture is continuously displayed; displaying, on the second picture, a visual cue in response to the user input, wherein the visual cue corresponds to a first region; and displaying the main screen, wherein the main screen takes the second picture as a wallpaper, and displaying, on the main screen, a second group of icons, wherein the second group of icons are automatically arranged in a region other than the first region, and the second group of icons comprise one or more icons in the first group of icons. After a terminal changes the wallpaper, icons can be automatically arranged in a region other than a region where a user does not want to arrange the icons, thereby improving the convenience of human-computer interaction.
