Abstract:
In this solid-state image capturing device for generating a frame having an extended dynamic range, a decline in the frame rate is suppressed. A measuring unit measures a light receiving quantity in each of a plurality of regions and generates a measurement result. A selecting unit selects any one of a plurality of different light exposure periods for each of the plurality of regions on the basis of the measurement result. An image data generating unit performs light-exposure during the light exposure period selected for each of the plurality of regions and generates pixel data. An image processing unit adjusts a value of the generated pixel data for each of the plurality of regions on the basis of the measurement result.
