Abstract:
In the present invention, color table registration data (43a) indicates the correspondence relationship between: a color representation characteristic group in which a plurality of brand names of printing paper are classified by color representation characteristics; and one color table, among a plurality of color tables, to be used for printing paper of the plurality of brand names belonging to the color representation characteristic groups. A color table selection unit (52) identifies the brand name for the printing paper designated on the basis of print settings when performing printing based on image data, and selects a color table corresponding to the identified brand name on the basis of the color table registration data (43a). An image processing unit (53) executes color conversion of the image data using the selected color table, and an image output unit (41) executes printing on the basis of the image data after color conversion of the image data.
