Abstract:
The present invention reduces the burden on a reader regardless of individual differences in suspected lesion areas. This image processing device is provided with: a range-of-interest specifying unit 21 for specifying a range of interest of a subject in first direction from a point of interest with respect to a medical image for calculation for the subject; and a reading medical image generation unit 23 for generating a three-dimensional medical image for reading under a first reconstruction condition for specifying a first direction resolution with respect to the range of interest of the first direction, and a second reconstruction condition for specifying the first direction resolution which is lower than the first reconstruction condition with respect to a non-range-of-interest. The range-of-interest specifying unit 21 uses a two-dimensional-range-of-interest calculation unit 30 to calculate a two-dimensional range of interest from a luminance value distribution of pixels surrounding the point of interest on a two-dimensional image of interest in which the point of interest of the medical image for calculation is present, and uses a range-of-interest calculation unit 31 to calculate the range of interest of the first direction by calculating a degree of similarity in the first direction from the two-dimensional range of interest.
