Abstract:

The present technology relates to an image processing device and method, and program, with which it is possible to carry out an edit more simply. Provided is an image processing device, comprising: an operation detection unit which detects an operation input performed through an operation unit; and a display control unit which outputs, to an immersive presentation device, a presentation image which is constituted by the entirety or part of a full 360-degree spherical image in which an image of the operation unit has been superimposed, and causes said immersive presentation device to display the presentation image, and if an operation input has been detected, controls the display of the presentation image such that the operation input is reflected therein. The operation detection unit detects the coordinates of a position within the full 360-degree spherical image which a pointer of the operation unit indicates. The present technology may be applied to an editing system which edits a full 360-degree spherical image.
