Abstract:
An image processing device disclosed in the present description generates a three-dimensional difference image from a first medical image and a second medical image that are three-dimensional and that are obtained by capturing images of a patient. The image processing device is characterized by being provided with an acquisition means that acquires the first medical image and the second medical image, a determination means that determines a resolution of the difference image, and a difference image generation means that generates the difference image at the resolution determined by the determination means, wherein the determination means determines a resolution in at least one axial direction of the three axial directions that constitute the resolution of the difference image, on the basis of the resolution of the first medical image and a predetermined first resolution.
