Abstract:
This disclosure relates to an image processing device and method that make it possible to link a 3D spatial region and an Atlas tile group. The present invention: generates and signals link information which is stored in a file together with a bitstream of a point cloud that expresses a three-dimensional shape object as a collection of points, and which links a 3D spatial region of the point cloud and an atlas tile group; and on the basis of the link information, selects an atlas tile group and a 3D spatial region corresponding to a desired three-dimensional space. The present disclosure may be applied, for example, to an image processing device, an information processing device, an image processing method, an information processing method, and the like.
