Abstract:
An image providing apparatus for providing a moving picture around a mobile communication terminal to the mobile communication terminal. The apparatus includes an image storage unit for storing as moving pictures the images to be viewed by a user moving along a route corresponding to a link connecting two adjacent nodes, a route acquisition unit for acquiring a movement route along which the mobile communication terminal moves, an image generator for connecting a plurality of moving pictures stored in the image storage unit while being correlated with the links contained in the movement route, so as to generate a moving picture viewed by the user moving along the movement route, and an image transmission unit for transmitting the moving picture generated by the image generator to the mobile communication terminal.
