Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to image an iris pattern at a level of quality enabling authentication and verification. Iris imaging devices (401 to 404) are disposed in different positions from one another within the same field of view range. An entire-subject imaging device (100) captures images using a wide field of view range. A guide device (200) guides a subject. A lighting device (300) shines light on the subject. A control device (500) uses an image from the entire-subject imaging device (100) to control at least one operation from among the reading of images from the iris imaging devices (401 to 404), the presentation of video and/or sound in the guide device (200), and the emission of light by the lighting device (300).
