Abstract:

An information processing device according to an embodiment comprises a data acquisition unit, a data processing unit, and a specific region determination unit. The data acquisition unit acquires geographical data that includes at least both a first polygon comprising one or more first lines and a second polygon comprising one or more second lines and included in the area of the first polygon. The data processing unit thickens the first lines constituting the first polygon and the second lines constituting the second polygon, and generates a first union comprising the thickened first polygon and the thickened second polygon. The specific region determination unit determines, as a specific region, a region encompassed by an interior ring that is among the interior rings of the generated first union and that is not included in the area of the second polygon.
