Abstract:

Provided is an information processing device comprising: a photographing unit for photographing a subject, and generating a photographed image by performing conversion into digital data; a calculation unit for calculating, for each predetermined area of the photographed image, the probability that a subject included in the predetermined area corresponds to the main subject that a photographer wishes to photograph; a determination unit for determining a predetermined area in which the probability exceeds a predetermined threshold to be an effective data area, and determining a main subject area on the basis of the effective data area; and a focusing unit for adjusting the focus to the determined main subject area. Thus, it is possible to appropriately adjust the focus to the main subject.
