Abstract:

Provided is an information processing device capable of utilizing important data even if a trouble occurs. The information processing device comprises a storage device for storing a first basic program and data, start means for executing a second basic program, which is stored in a second storage unit at least logically different from the first storage unit of the storage device having stored the first basic program and data, thereby to activate the information processing device, and save means for saving the data stored in the first storage unit, to a predetermined storage area by utilizing the second basic program.
