Abstract:
The present invention provides: a device, which is other than a device to which a user's speech has been inputted, capable of executing a process in accordance with the user's speech; and a method therefor. A data processing unit generates, when an external second information processing device is to execute a process corresponding to a user's speech, user's speech interpretation data by analyzing the user's speech, generates conversion data understandable to the second information processing device by converting the generated user's speech interpretation data, and transmits the conversion data to the second information processing device. The user's speech interpretation data has an intent corresponding to the intention of the user's speech and a slot corresponding to element information included in the user's speech. The data processing unit converts the user's speech interpretation data including the intent and the slot into data including an intent and a slot understandable to the second information processing device.
