Abstract:

In a computer (15), a hard disc drive (17) is allowed to be inserted into a housing (16) or drawn out therefrom. A user can carry the hard disc drive (17). Since various pieces of information having effect on the operational environment are stored in the hard disc drive (17), an accustomed operational environment can be established at all times when a work is performed on a plurality of computers (15) based only on one hard disc drive (17). When such a computer (15) is utilized in a desk top computer system, reduction in size of the screen of a display or the keyboard can be avoided and a good operability can be ensured.
