Abstract:
Provided is an information provision method in which an output device provided to a vehicle is used to provide information to a user who is an occupant of the vehicle. The information provision method involves determining a topic to be provided to the user and first information pertaining to the topic, causing the output device to output the first information, detecting the user's reaction when the output device outputs the first information, and inferring the user's level of interest in the topic on the basis of the user's reaction. If the level of interest is higher than a prescribed first threshold, second information, which is more detailed than the first information, pertaining to the topic is caused to be output by the output device.
