An embodiment of the present application provides an information transmission method and device, the method comprising: a first network equipment sending to a terminal device network capability information of at least one network equipment, the at least one network equipment comprising the first network equipment and/or network equipment connected to the first network equipment. The embodiment of the present application can reduce signaling overheads, thereby avoiding resource wastage.
