Title:
INSTALLATION FOR TREATMENT OF SEDIMENTS OF NATURAL AND SEWAGE WATERS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1987/006573
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An installation for treatment of sediment of natural and sewage waters comprises a crystallizer (1), a melter (2), a heat exchanger-condenser (4), a cooling compressor (3) connected to the crystallizer (1) and to the melter (2) connected in turn to an apparatus (5) for dewatering the sediment. The evaporator (8) of the crystallizer (1) is provided with two cylinders (9). The installation further comprises a unit (13) for feeding and a unit (15) for removing the cooling agent, a planetary drive, a unit (17) for applying the sediment and a unit (19) for removing the sediment. The crystallizer (1) has a recirculation station (6). The unit (17) for applying the sediment consists of pouring nozzles (18). Inclined screens (12) are mounted, with gaps (delta1, delta2), between the cylinders (9) near the walls. The unit (19) for removing the sediment is provided with at least two cutting instruments (20) with flexible collector. The unit (13) for feeding the cooling agent has a perforated distributor (14) whereas the planetary drive has a variator (23). The melter (2) is provided with sprinkler nozzles (30) and with a device for collecting and removing the solid substances of the sediment, whereas the heat exchanger-condenser (4) is located outside the melter (2).
