Title:
INSULATING ROLLING BEARING FOR USE IN PREVENTION OF ELECTRIC CORROSION, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF, AND BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/049727
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The object is to achieve all of an ensured insulating property, low cost and a good
appearance at high levels. A ceramic which constitutes a insulating coating
film (6) (i.e., a ceramic spraying layer) comprises alumina as the main ingredient
and has a titanium oxide content of 0.01 to 0.2% by weight. The ceramic which forms
the spraying layer has a particle diameter of 10 to 50 μm and an average particle
diameter of 15 to 25 μm. By decreasing the content of titanium oxide, the
thickness of the insulating coating film (6) can be reduced. By controlling the
particle size, the degree of accuracy of the film thickness can be improved and
the finishing processing can be performed in a simpler manner. Further, by adding
titanium oxide, deterioration in appearance after sealing treatment can be
prevented.
