Abstract:
An inverted siphon of vacuum type sewerage designed to prevent lowering of a degree of vacuum caused by head when a sewerage passes below an obstacle such as river, in which a vacuum type sewer pipe (2) on the upstream side disposed on one side of a river (1) is connected to another vacuum type sewer pipe (3) on the downstream side with a water pipe (4) and air vent pipe (5) passing below the river (1). Sewage in the upstream side vacuum sewer pipe (2) flows into the downstream side vacuum sewer pipe (3) through the water pipe (4). A vacuum transmitted from a vacuum station to the downstream side sewer pipe (3) is further transmitted to the upstream side vacuum sewer pipe (2) without lowering in degree.
