Abstract:
An iron-based lithium supplementing material for a positive electrode, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The iron-based lithium supplementing material for a positive electrode comprises a lithium-rich iron-based core and a passivation layer coating the surface of the lithium-rich iron-based core, wherein the material of the passivation layer comprises LiFeO2 and LidMOe, where d and e satisfy: d ≥ 2e-5; and M is selected from at least one of Al, Ni, Mn, Co, Ti, Zr, Si, V, Zn, Cr, Cu and P. LiFeO2 and LidMOe form the passivation layer on the surface of the lithium-rich iron-based core; and the passivation layer has high density, does not react with water, and can play a role in isolating water, carbon dioxide and other harmful components in air, thereby ensuring the effect of isolating the material from moisture during a storage process, and thus the material has stable performance, which is beneficial to the wide application thereof.
