Abstract:
A laser positioning method based on image information, and a robot. The laser positioning method is executed by a robot equipped with a structured light module, the structured light module comprising a line laser emitter and a camera not provided with any infrared filter such that imaging information of infrared light and imaging information of visible light are preserved in an image acquired by the camera. The laser positioning method comprises: the robot controls the camera to acquire an image of light which is line laser emitted by the line laser emitter reflected back by an object to be detected, and detects the brightness type of the image acquired by the camera; when the robot detects that a current frame image acquired by the camera is a bright frame image, the robot locates the position of the line laser by executing an inter-frame tracking algorithm; and when the robot detects that the current frame image acquired by the camera is a dark frame image, the robot extracts the line laser position from the current frame image by executing a brightness gravity center algorithm.
