Abstract:
An LED backlight system and a display device, wherein the backlight system (100) comprises a power supply module (10), an LED array (20), a main control switch module (30), a current detection module (40), a current balance module (50) and a shunting module (60). The LED array (20) is electrically connected with the power supply module (10) and comprises a plurality of LED lamp strings (201,202,203) which have the same anode. The main control switch module (30) comprises a plurality of first switching tubes (301,302,303), which are used for receiving LED lamp string (201,202,203) switch control PWM signals. The current detection module (40) is used for outputting a plurality of current feedback signals corresponding to the current of the LED lamp strings (201,202,203). The current balance module (50) is connected with the current detection module (40) and comprises a balance control unit (510) and a balance switch unit (520), wherein the balance control unit (510) controls the on or off of the balance switch unit (520) according to the current feedback signals. The shunting module (60) is parallel connected with the current balance module (50), and is used for shunting the current balance module (50). The backlight system and the display device can reduce the power consumption of the current balance module, so that the temperature of the LED driving chips is lowered.
