Abstract:
To provide a lens set, a lens design method, and a lens manufacturing method whereby manufacturing costs are reduced and the level of swim in images seen through said lenses is small. Said lens set contains a first lens and a second lens, each of which is a progressive glasses lens that contains a distance-viewing area and a reading area having different powers. The first and second lenses have different addition powers. The difference between the vertical surface refractive power (OVPf1) of the distance-viewing area of the object-side surface of the first lens and the vertical surface refractive power (OVPn1) of the reading area thereof is equal to the difference between the vertical surface refractive power (OVPf2) of the distance-viewing area of the object-side surface of the second lens and the vertical surface refractive power (OVPn2) of the reading area thereof.
